Eliza Vs. The Pantry!!

Whenever I make dinner I always leave the pantry door open because it keeps Eliza occupied so I can finish it all at once. Well her curiosity ran wild the other day and the pantry had no chance. She has learned to climb now and can reach things that she couldn't use to before. There was a huge mess but I thought it was so cute I couldn't resist taking pictures! Take a look she was caught red handed....

Introducing Donatello

Matt loves to fish and goes often. Well, every once in a while Eliza and I will tag along. The other day we were out fishing and I am paranoid of alligators sneaking up on us so I am always starring into the water. I saw this little thing floating and I asked Matt "Hey babe what's that?" and he replied "oh it's just a leaf"... I thought hmmm I didn't know leaves could swim so I protested against his response and made him scoop it up onto the bank with his fishing pole. We then realized it was a little baby turtle. We had to dump some of Eliza's snack out so we can bring it home in a container (sorry Eliza lol) Well, after doing some internet research we came to the conclusion it is an Alligator Snapping Turtle and he is fiesty! He attacks the other turtle in the tank which is a water conditioner so he doesn't get much response and he hisses at us. It's actually kind of cute. The biggest one on record is 263lbs. We plan on keeping ours while it is small. Once it gets big you can have a Zoo buy it from you which is kind of cool. So here are a couple of pictures... they are the clearest ones I could shoot!

Little Eliza Mae

In two more months my little Eliza is going to be the "Big One" I can't believe how much she has changed. Here are some recent random pictures of her. She doesn't like to look at the camera anymore :) She is going through a shy stage! It's really cute whenever someone tells her how pretty she is she puts her head down rubs her eyes and gives them a really pretty smile.

2. 5 things on my “To Do List” today: Organize my quilting stuff, try to eat something (I think I got food poisoning this weekend), Wait for the storm to come in, Rest and try to eat something.


3. Things I would do if I became a billionaire: Pay tithes and fast offering, get out of debt, buy a house, put some away into savings and investments, buy new cars, and set up savings for the kids.


4. 3 of my BAD habits:I worry way too much, I drink from the milk GALLON :), and I leave wet towels on the bed.
