It's been a while

We don't have the Internet anymore so I won't be getting on the blog as often and plus nothing really new has been going on so there wasn't anything exciting to blog about until now. haha Today Matt finally got a day off so we decided to go searching for alligators... not really expecting to find one because every attempt before now for the last year has failed. So when we saw this one we were extremely excited! This sucker was on the log and would not move for anything he sat on the log so still he blended right in with the bark. I couldn't believe Matt finally made enough noise so it went into the water and swam in a circle taken in the surroundings.. they are really interesting to watch! He would close his mouth and it would just spring back open like it was an immediate reaction. The second picture with Eliza is to show how close we really were to it. She wasn't very happy I kept making her look at the camera. :) We found another one but he was too hidden and to actually get a good picture.

I thought Eliza was playing very well by herself. Usually she is attached to my hip so I should have known something was up. I bought her some of the beginners Toddler crayons and she hated them she would throw they every time I tired to give them to her so I didn't think it would matter that they were in her toy box. WELL, I was wrong!! She found out how to get the actual crayon out of the toy and now she loves just the crayon. I had blue, red, green crayon all over my window seal. Luckily they wipe right off with a little water and soap because after I wiped it off the first time and turned around not even more than 30 seconds and she had found another crayon. I thought I had took all of them away. Evidently not! For some strange reason though I wanted to laugh because I remember being that sneaky and I was happy that she was actually using them but I had to hold it in so she knows she has to use paper next time.
