 Leah was running down the hallway yesterday and slipped where Elaine dropped some ice and her head caught her fall. I took a picture of Leah's head an hour after being iced and it was still that big! Elaine insisted I take a picture of her too!

Sixth Anniversary

Happy Sixth Anniversary!

Today marks the sixth anniversary of two young kids listening to their hearts... We eloped outside in this little gazebo in a tiny town called Cheatham County, Tn only three months after meeting and It was one of the best days of my life can't believe it has already been six years!

Sea Life Arizona

We wanted to get the girls out of the house but it is still too hot to do anything but whine about it ;) so we went to The Mills Mall got some lunch and went to Sea Life Arizona because we had buy one get one free coupons. It was a "not waste of money but would never do it again" sort of place according to Matt but I liked it. The fish were beautiful though and I think I was just as mesmerized as Leah(3 yr old) HAHA I always love seeing the looks on the girls faces when they are seeing something new and exploring.

You Never Know Who You Can Trust Please Read

I regularly check the stats on my blog.. do you? Over the life time of my blog I have has 56 views from out of the united states. I personally do not know anyone who lives in Poland, Latvia..and especially Russia. My blog is private from google searches so I have no idea where these are coming from. Anyway over the last week some things have happened to make me a bit uneasy.

Last Friday evening Matt received a Plain white box that he had to sign for from UPS. He recently ordered me a small anniversary present so as he started to open it he got a strange look on his face... he then said "Who is the hell would send me a blender?".. I laughed and said "Shut up" thinking he was joking and then immediately stopped laughing when he started to pull it out of the box. At that very moment my stomach hit my throat... who would send Matt a blender? Inside of the box there was a packing slip that said the customers name was Gregory Schmidt... We only know one person named Greg and that is not his last name. There was also a number listed for us in the UPS label which was not our number I decided to use my stalking skills and traced it back to an Illinois sprint number called sprint and they told me it was a prepaid so no information linked to the account. While I was doing all of this Matt decided to google the blender and turns out it was a 500+ blender. After racking our brain for a few hours and finally deciding we have no idea who could have sent this too us I decided to call the police and see if anything similar has happened recently. The dispatcher on the phone informed me a man this week received a laptop that he has never ordered and saw fraudulent charges on his account. Needless to say he sent it back and got everything taken care of, but the Lady told me on the phone that everything we had needed to go on lock down and we need to stay completely aware of our surroundings. Social sites, email, make our blogs private. EVERYTHING. Well it was already Friday night so I did as she told me to but we had to wait to contact the blender company on Monday morning. Monday morning came and after contacting the company we told them how it just seemed weird told them what the police told us to do they gave us the contact info for the "customer" Gregory Schmidt was the name on the account for the card used, the address was also linked to the account and the contact number they gave us.... ready for this? Was our own number.... yep that's right they had my PREPAID cell phone number that is not linked to Matt at all listed as Gregory Schmidt's number. So whoever did this new that when we called in and asked for a contact number they would give us our own number. I don't think they banked on the fact that I can cyber stalk pretty much anyone(dont worry I normally only use it to do family history work) and that the company would give us the address they had privately listed. Well after about 12 hours of searching I traced the address it wasn't too hard since the name and address was correct but I found a listed number. I called the number about every 2 mins for 20mins then Matt told me to stop so I did for about an hour then started up again. I called every two mins even though I was being directed to voice mail each time for about 1 hour to 1 hour and half straight. I figured someone would be annoyed enough to answer the phone and I was right. Greg answered the phone and I told him what had happened and that I was trying to figure out why he would send us a blender. He told me he didn't so after going back and forth with him and blender company he found out someone had opened a MasterCard in his name and bought ONLY the bender then the account was closed once the purchase was completed.
Now here are my questions and thoughts:
1. Why would someone do this? It seems to me that we really have pissed someone off apparently that they would want to order a 500+ dollar blender and make it look like we purchased it fraudulently and had it shipped to us.
2. In Arizona receiving 500 dollars of stolen good is a felony. So this isn't a joke someone is really trying to get Matt into trouble here.
3. It had to be someone who knows us well they had his name address and MY cell phone number.
4. I just don't understand... if their point was to scare us then well done I am scared.. it has given me an uneasy feeling that I just cant shake.. all I can do pray for this person that their heart will be softened and that we will have the opportunity to apologize for anything we have done to provoke this on ourselves.

Also it saddens me to know that someone we have let into our lives wants to hurt us. We do not let anyone and everyone in so it has to be someone we know. I have made this blog private so if you are reading this and you are the person who has done this then know.. you are reading this because we trusted you, because we have invited you into our lives because part of our heart loves you, and we are sorry for whatever we have done to provoke this. Please know I will be praying for you.

TFO 2012

This year we were able to attend our families TFO that happens every three years. The last one I had been too was when I was in my teens so.. it had been a while. Here are some of the highlights that happened over the three days.

The Girls got to work on a Humanitarian Project with Grandma Pember and Aunt Jan

My girls got to play their little hearts out with their extended cousins. 

I got to see one of the three living siblings of my grandma's who has already passed away.

There were so many activities we unfortunately were not able to attend every single one but definitely enjoyed the ones we did attend. Family reunions hold some of my fondest memories from when I was younger and I look forward to the upcoming ones. I know our girls had a blast!

Fourth of July

This years fourth of July was by far the best since 2007 it had rained the night before and morning of so temperatures around here drastically dropped. We spent the morning exploring some off road areas then we came home and relaxed. We knew we didnt want to drive far this year so We found an empty dirt lot right behind a local church less than a mile away that does a firework display every year and man it was like front row seating. Once the show was over we came home and set off some of our own. Everyone including the girls were in great spirits  considering it was way past bed times which made for an amazing night!
